I really enjoyed The Apartment. The whole screen play seemed to work out fine. There weren’t any problems at all. In the beginning it seemed like Fight Club, the voice overs and commentary about life made me think that Bud was a similar character to the narrator/tyler durden in Fight Club. I really enjoyed the script but somehow I doubt that the movie would be as good as the script. I have a picture of what all the characters look like and if it doesn’t fit that picture I’d probably be disappointed. I really didn’t appreciate the ending as much as I thought, it was a happy ending, but not as happy as I’d liked, it’s a little too open for my taste, I need more closure. I wanted Fran to say she loved Bud at the end and maybe give him a kiss or something. I really want to believe and know definitively that the characters are doing well in this type of story. I can take a sad, weird ending like No Country for Old Men, but for a movie like this, I need more.

Questions:
1. Who would you cast for a movie like this?
2. Would you have changed the ending at all?
