1. I'm not sure who rated it 101 but I think thats somewhat fair. I wasn't the biggest fan of The Apartment but to be honest, I don't like a lot of romantic comedies because I feel like they're usually shallow. As long as it wasn't after Bringing Up Baby, It Happened One Night or Some Like It Hot...it's fine as 101. It's one of the best representatives of a thankless genre. 2. I made a list of my 100 favorite movies last semester and needless to say The Apartment wasn't on there. Thus, I would definetely rate it lower. Probably in the 130s...
