1. The apartment had an up-ending, both Buddy-Boy and Fran finally took control of their lives and stopped letting people use them (at least as far as we know). How would your feelings towards the story change if it had a down ending with either Fran or Bud successfully committing suicide?
2. Using the same example, would it change the way you covered the script? If you recommended it would you now pass on it? Why?
