I felt that the author's use of visual was a very natural one to read. I was able to perfectly visualize the movie with the material he provided. When Samual first saw the murder and managed to escape detection, I was nervous, picturing the man just beyond the crack drawing closer. I felt like I was watching the movie instead of reading it. I felt like the story flowed well, blending the dialog with description very well. Usually the technical directions slow me down. However I wonder if the ease with witch I was able to visualize this story is because, having grown up in Central Pennsylvania just a forty minute drive from Amish country, I have had some exposure to the Amish.

Discussion Questions
#1) Have you ever seen an Amish person or their home? If not was it difficult for you to picture what the setting and costumes would look like?
#2) How difficult do you think it would be for you to collaborate on a script? If you have had previous experience doing so, how was it?

I've actually been to Amish country in pennsylvania. No real surprises here. They're pretty much stereotypes, then again, maybe they're just putting on a show for tourists.
