Moreover, in the bathroom scene, the authors used vivid visual language to describe the killing of the man. The way that the blood was described, and even the description of the pistol knocking open the bathroom stalls evoked a feeling of fear within the reader.
These scenes offered only a small amount of visual language that was prevelant throughout the whole movie. The descriptive scenes provoked tremendous emotions from the reader and captivated the feelings of the scenes and the movie as a whole.
Discussion Questions:
1.) Does the stimulation of the audience by visual language in the screenplay translate into the stimulation of the audience when they are watching the film?
2.) Why were so many 'omitted' scenes left in the screenplay? Was it still a rough copy?
3.) Would having a partner make writing a screenplay easier because you have another brain and idea person?
