I didn't really find much of a connection with any character in this script, so I didn't really care about the story much. I was so confused at first when they kept calling Dirk "Eddie" at the start of the screenplay. It took me a while to realize why they called him Dirk. Despite that, I was sufficiently amused by how (understandably) unabashed they were about sex. I was especially amused by the broken relationship of Little Bill and his wife, as well as the random woman who died at the party before Eddie became Dirk. Colonel's reaction was so hilarious "whatever...that never happened". I guess I shouldn't find these scenes hilarious, but if I didn't laugh at them I would have been bored.
