Like several others have mentioned, I have never seen the film, and I was shocked by how graphic the screenplay was. I did eventually get used to it, but I don't know if that's a good thing. That being said, the screenplay wasn't what I expected. I'm not entirely sure what it is that I expected, but that wasn't it. It was both shocking and cliche...something that I found somewhat interesting. I don't know if I'm going to go out and rent the film immediately after reading the screenplay, but it wasn't a bad read.
1. Was anyone else curious about how well the film did at the box office?
2. For those who have seen the film: how different was the screenplay that we read from the finished film?
