the apartment blog 3

The screenplay worked very well, it was written a lot better than A boys Life. It was an easy read, the dialogue was great, the descriptions of action were great too. The characters were well developed, the story was great on paper, I've never seen the movie, I dont even know when it was released. I caught on that it was set in the past, but I wish I knew when the movie was made. Bud is a great character, he's weak but smart with a big heart, he finds Fran, who was my second favorite character. The film was so well written that I almost forgot I was reading a screenplay at moments. We should have read this screenplay before A boys life, it was easier to follow and made more sense.

1. What would you classify this movie as?

2. Who stared in this movie, and when was it released?

The film was released in 1960 starring Jack Lemmon as Bud and Shirley MacLaine as Fran.
